By "Go Away" do you mean you can one day forget about being diabetic? Well no that will not happen.
If you talk about not feeling dizzy or not having joint pain? Well yes this can be controlled with proper diet and medication levels, many diabetics live into their 90’s.
I will suggest a couple of books thought, and following their diet plan will help, so you can run your life with less medications. These diet plans really change you diet, and has reduced the medications by 50% or more in diabetic test subjects.

I would like to suggest oatmeal for breakfast with 1/4 teaspoon of cinnamon on top, to slow down the absorption of the sugars, sweeten with applesause, chopped up apple, or anything besides artificial sweeteners. No need for milk other, in fact cutting down on milk products will help control your diabetes.
My friend did not want to cut cheese out of his diet, but after drinking 9.0 PH water for a month, and cutting out cheese, he is not using his medications now, and his blood sugars are still under control. He is type 2 diabetic, and still monitors his blood sugar level 5 times a day, but with diet alone he is controlling his blood sugar level.

The symptoms may go away if you are taking medication but if you stop the medication they will come back. You will always be a diabetic.
