Do not expect any of the symptoms to just disappear unless something changes – like diet, weight loss if you’re overweight, and medicine (tablets or insulin). You still need to monitor and control your blood sugars to reduce long-term damage to your eyes, kidneys, and heart.

You should wake up and smell the coffee. Untreated diabetes does not "go away". You are missing an essential enzyme in your metabolism chain and you will be missing it ALL YOUR LIFE.
You can go on praying and you can take your pick from the various organs and systems you are SEVERLY harming: your brain blood vessels, your coronary arteries, your retinas, your kidneys, your inferior limbs with the risk of amputation after diabetic gangrene.
Diet and excercise are good but are not enough to stabilize your glucose levels. You need appropiate medication.
